Mid autumn

October went by in flash. Ramsay finally had his operation, and is recovering well. He’s been busy too visiting the zoo and having his first pony ride.

River has been unwell with chicken pox, and he’s been on holiday with his Nan-Nan and as always, is full of beans, knowledge and fascination.

Brodie too has been unwell, but still exploring as much as he can, and taking us all along with him. He’s growing up so fast.

I’ve been to Scotland to support my Mum with a cataract procedure, and it was good to catch up with family and friends too.

I managed a stay in a shepherd’s hut, a trip to the theatre, good food and catching up with friends. oh and we got a new car-we’ve gone electric and it is a dream.

I am so lucky with friends and family that I have, always there to bolster me when the ebb and flow of life does just that.

Yesterday was a special day as Georgina had her baby sprinkle for baby Spooner number 2. Venue was perfect, and I hope I did her proud with a few little bits for the table. It was intimate with a few friends and me and Craig’s Mum.

We caught up with the boys at the pub after then enjoyed the fireworks from our bedroom window. It was a special day.

I’m so very proud of all our children, and that will never change. Life has its challenges, and what is important is how you deal with them, and that we are always there to support each other.
